As part of an historical symposium commemorating the 65th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor, and moderated by Mr. Stillwell, survivors talked about their personal recollections of the December 7, 1941 attacks and the effects on their ships.
Jack Evans was on the “main top” of the USS Tennessee. From that vantage point he was an eyewitness to the panorama of the attack and the destruction of Battleship Row. Mr. Soucy, a pharmacist’s mate, tended the wounded from the USS Utah and other vessels at an aid station.
