Representatives from MOEX and Anadarko Petroleum testified on their companies' role in the Gulf of Mexico oil spill. MOEX and Anadarko, respectively, own 10 and 25 percent shares in the Deepwater Horizon well. The companies had declined to share any damages or cleanup costs with BP while waiting for the results of an investigation to determine whether any misconduct or negligence by BP played a role in the disaster.
