Corporate leaders and environmental advocates called for federal action on reducing greenhouse gas emissions and adopting climate-friendly technology. Among the topics they addressed were results of scientific studies on global warming, developing realistic emissions standards, energy security issues, potential areas of stimulus to the economy, and the need to make proactive policy decisions.
