Federal Reserve Chair Ben Bernanke spoke to George Washington University students about the 2008 financial crisis. He detailed events that led to the crisis and the companies and banks that suffered severe losses during that time. He also talked about the global reach of the financial crisis, specifically in Europe, and how the G-7 meeting with finance ministers during that time was an “impressive example of international cooperation.” This was the third of four classes he taught at the school. close
