David Vise talked about his book The Google Story: Inside the Hottest Business, Media, and Technology Success of Our Time, published by Delacorte Press. Mr. Vise co-authored the book with Mark Malseed. He described the founding of the Google Internet search engine by two Stanford University students, the reasons for its global success without benefit of marketing, its computing power, and its methods of paying for itself. He discussed the impact of the Google search engine on the Internet and detailed the company’s plan for the future. After his presentation the author answered audience members' questions. close
