Ohio Democrats paid tribute to Senator John Glenn, who retired in 1998, at their annual fund-raising dinner. Vice President AL Gore made humorous remarks and praised the work of Senator Glenn during his career in politics and in the space program. The Senator was presented with many plaques and declarations from the Ohio legislature. A video was shown that commemorated Senator Glenn’s life and career. Senator Glenn thanked the Ohio Democrats for the tribute and talked about his career in the Senate. close
