The first Supreme Court nominee of the Clinton administration was
introduced to the committee by Sen. Moynihan, Sen. D’Amato and Rep.
Holmes-Norton in the first day of her confirmation hearing.
Following opening statements by all members of the committee, Judge
Ginsburg introduced her family attending the hearing, and gave her
opening statement on her perspective of her nomination to the Supreme
Court.
