Mr. Humes spoke about the speech given by President Lincoln on November 19, 1863 to dedicate the Gettysburg Civil War battlefield as a national cemetery. He analyzed the process of writing the speech, the origins and meanings of the concepts contained in it and Lincoln as he delivered it. He also recited it in his idea of Lincoln’s voice.
