George Will talked about his book One Man’s America: The Pleasures and Provocations of Our Singular Nation (Crown Forum; June 3, 2008). The book is a compilation of his columns and reviews from the preceding five years. He writes about a wide range of people, stories, and events that have shaped America throughout its history. He talked about Alistair Cooke, to whom the title of the book is a homage, and about his life and experiences while writing. Topics of discussion included historical perspective, term limits, campaign financing, political temperament, the presidential campaign, and Iraq. The guest interviewer was David Broder.

George Will writes a twice-weekly syndicated column and a bi-weekly column in Newsweek. He appears each Sunday on the ABC News program “This Week.” Mr. Will won the Pulitzer Prize for Commentary and is the author of thirteen books. close
