Treasury Secretary Timothy F. Geithner participated in a question and answer session with Richard Stengel. n his remarks he said that the Obama administration’s overhaul of U.S. financial regulation will be aimed at preventing future crises by addressing oversight gaps that allowed too much systemic risk. He also said that a major goal of the plan is fixing “an accountability problem” among regulators to create a “more stable” financial system. close
