Participants talked to reporters about the results of a study about the availability of information technology to Americans. They focused on how the gap between the information rich and poor is widening and that low income individuals need better access to the Internet and technology to improve their education and find jobs. They stressed that public and private organizations need to help provide access to computers at local libraries and other public access locations. After their prepared remarks they answered reporters' questions. close
