Mr. Gergen moderated a panel discussion on the future of the Republican Party. Among the issues they addressed were the impact of efforts to combat terrorism on the political process, the future of U.S. foreign policy, internal divisions within the party, and upcoming midterm elections. Following their comments they answered questions from the audience.
