Members of the Commission on the Future of Higher Education talked about methods of improving education beyond high school and a draft report to the Department of Education on the quality of higher education. Among the issues they addressed were specific findings in a report on higher education, recommendations for future actions by the department, steps to be taken before issuing a final report. Other issues included access to higher education, costs of public and private programs, student loan programs, and workforce development. Several members participated via telephone. close
