Prime Minister Latortue discussed the economic and political challenges facing Haiti and ways the international community could help restore stability. Topics included disarming the militias, rebuilding a non-corrupt police force and the administration, supplying roads and electricity, and encouraging Haitians to return to the country. After remarks by former Ambassador Preeg, the prime minister answered questions from members of the audience. close
