Participants discussed the need to reduce the volume of television

programming which negatively impacts children, especially their

behavior, and correspondingly increase the volume of programming

which educates children in consensually agreed upon values. They

examined the content of current programming and outlined their

perspectives on better programs. They also talked about the industry

and government role in changing television programs aimed at

children. After a panel discussion period, there was a question and

answer session with the audience. close
