Ron Robinson talked about his book Funding Fathers: The Unsung Heroes of the Conservative Movement, co-authored with Nicole Hoplin. The book recounts the early funders of the conservative movement. From William Volkers to Joseph Coors Sr. and Henry Regnery, the authors profile individuals that laid the groundwork for the rise of modern day conservatism through their philanthropy. Mr. Robinson was joined by Aaron Dorfman of the National Committee for Responsive Philanthropy and John Miller of the National Review. Thet responded to questions from the audience.

Ron Robinson is the president of Young America’s Foundation. He was formerly president of the International Youth Year Commission and the United States Youth Council and executive director of Young Americans for Freedom. He was an advisor to the U.S. Department of Education during the Reagan Administration. close
