Democratic presidential candidates spoke to supporters at a steak fry hosted by Senator Harkin in Iowa. Former President Clinton also talked about the strength of the field of candidates and the Democratic Party agenda. Among the topics addressed were the state of the economy, tax policy, health care, education, and policy toward Iraq.

The program also included interviews with journalists and members of the audience, as well as a portion of a speech by President Clinton when he was a candidate at the steak fry in 1992.
