Following Gale Norton’s introductory remarks, Ann McElhinney and Phelim McAleer talked about their documentary, FrackNation: The Miracle and the Madness. In their speech, they detailed how they evolved from being liberal European journalists to making a film to address what they call misinformation about the process of hydraulic fracturing, or “fracking,” for natural gas.
