Treasury Secretary Jack Lew spoke, followed by a discussion with private sector officials on private equity, long-term lending, and capital markets.

“Open Markets: Financing The Africa Of Tomorrow” was a panel of the U.S.- Africa Business Forum being held at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Washington, D.C. It was part of the U.S.-Africa Leaders Summit held in Washington from August 4-6, 2014, to strengthen ties between U.S. and African leaders.
