The Consumer Federation of America held the 28th Annual Food Policy Conference at the National Press Club from September 19-20, 2005. They key panel topics for the event included the impact of farm subsidies, food from cloned animals, factors affecting food choice, and the impact of Hurricane Katrina.

During the first day of the conference, a panel was held to discuss food from cloning. Members of the panel discussed the likelihood that meat from cloned animals would soon reach the nation’s dinner tables. Following the panel, participants responded to questions and comments from members of the audience. close
