Adam Bagdasarian talked about the basis of his book, Forgotten Fire, to a group of Armenian students. The novel is based on his great-uncle’s experiences during the 1915 Armenian genocide with the book’s main character, 12-year-old Vahan Kenderian, being based on the him. During the Armenian genocide, between one and one and half million Armenians were killed by the Ottoman Empire. Following his remarks, he answered questions from the students.
