Burt Folsom, author of New Deal or Raw Deal: How FDR's Economic Legacy has Damaged America, spoke to students about the consequences of the Great Depression and the New Deal. He framed the discussion as a lesson in current economic hardships and argued that the New Deal had several unintended ramifications that may have extended the depression.
