Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas President Richard Fisher said banks that were “too big to fail” remain a threat to the economy and proposed a plan to split the banks into smaller businesses. He also said the recently passed Dodd-Frank financial regulations were too confusing and should be simplified. He spoke at a Committee of the Republic event held at the National Press Club. close
