The National Archives hosted a media availability meeting so that journalists could see what is believed to be the original Zapruder film of President Kennedy’s assassination. The film has been stored at the Archives since 1978 at the request of the Zapruder family, who still own the copyright to the film. The short strip of film may be seen displayed on a work table. A tour of the storage facility was shown. close
