The Federal Courts Study Committee, whose purpose is to develop a long term plan for the future of the judiciary system, heard testimony concerning the role, work load, and structure of the United States judiciary. The meeting, held in the East Conference Room of the U.S. Supreme Court, featured legal scholars and experts and included the U.S. Attorney General Dick Thornburgh. close
