Robert Lynch, President of Americans for the Arts, discussed President Bush’s FY 2005 budget request for more money for National Endowment for the Arts. AFTA has presented testimony before Congress on the need for more funding of arts programs, including the NEA. Mr. Lynch said that the proposed funding would be for a broad-based initiative that would encourage excellence across the country. He responded to telephone calls. close
