Seth Hettena talked about his book, Feasting on the Spoils: The Life and Times of Randy “Duke” Cunningham, History’s Most Corrupt Congressman, published by St. Martin’s Press. He described Cunningham’s career as a Navy pilot in Vietnam and his service as an eight-term congressman. Randy Cunningham (R-CA) retired in 2005 after pleading guilty to conspiracy to commit bribery, fraud, and tax evasion, which Mr. Hettena described in detail. After his presentation the author responded to audience members' questions. close
