Peter Maguire talked about his book Facing Death in Cambodia, published by Columbia University Press, and described his initial interest in going to Cambodia to look into the killings that occurred during the rule of the Khmer Rouge. During the talk, Mr. Maguire described his search for survivors of Cambodia’s Toul Sleng prison, where over 14,000 people died, and some of the Khmer Rouge soldiers who worked.
