Carter Phillips, the attorney representing Fox Television, spoke to the press after the U.S. Supreme Court heard oral argument in the case of FCC v. Fox Television. At issue is the Federal Communications Commission’s policy of fining broadcasters for isolated television broadcasts of curse words, called “fleeting expletives,” even during live programs.
