In the first hearing on the Clinton administration’s access to certain FBI files on many former White House officials, committee members heard testimony from former White House officials concerning how White House access to FBI files was controlled during their tenures. Several of them criticized the Clinton administration’s handling of this matter as very different from the way previous administrations handled it.
