BookExpo America, held every summer in Chicago, is the largest book trade show in the country. It is a way for authors, publishers, publicists, and members of the media to discuss the business of books as well as preview the upcoming fall releases. This program is a sampling of some of the publishers, booksellers, authors, and journalists interviewed during the conference. A longer version of the Barrie Rappaport interview on the current state of the publishing industry is available as a separate program. Sam Anthony’s interview with Jessica Pigza also is available in a longer version, as is the interview with Nora Rawlinson. close
