A panel discussion was held on ethical scandals and the state of integrity in the U.S.. Topics included ethics in government, from the founders to the handling of electronic mail, the rise in the rise in complaints against lawyers, and the leaking of information to reporters. Professor Vuletich moderated. Steven Ford, son of former President Gerald Ford, made opening remarks, focusing on his father’s ethics, including his decision to pardon former President Nixon. He joined the panel in responding to questions submitted by members of the audience.
