Elizabeth Kantor talked about her book The Politically Incorrect Guide to English and American Literature, published by Regnery Publishing. Ms. Kantor argued that teachers and professors have limited their teaching material to subjects supported by mainstream culture instead of providing students with the means to formulate their own opinions. One example Ms. Kantor used was the misconception that women in history were kept repressed by patriarchal societies. She said professors neglect to present students with evidence of strong female characters in literature. After her presentation she responded to audience members' questions.
