As part of a conference on Internet use by children, the secretary-general of Interpol and others discussed the dangers of child predation and child pornography on the Internet. Ernest Allen of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children described educational measures for helping parents and children avoid these dangers. The speakers also talked about how standards for illegality can be set. John Ryan of America Online showed a video describing how law enforcement agencies have used computers to catch Internet child predators. After their prepared remarks, the panelists took questions from the audience. close
