Secretary Chertoff and other officials spoke to reporters at a news conference on immigration enforcement strategy. They announced the arrests of several individuals resulting from the investigation of a company’s employment practices on charges alleging harboring aliens for illegal advantage and, in two instances, document fraud. They also talked about similar operations targeting employers suspected of using undocumented aliens as employees. Following their remarks they answered questions from reporters.
