The 30th annual CBC legislative conference was titled, “Judiciary Brain Trust: Two Million Incarcerated: Justice for a Community Under Siege.” Panelists discussed law enforcement accountability, including police brutality, racial profiling and civil rights, community impact, training and oversight, accreditation, and federal response. There are two pieces of legislation in committee which address some of these issues.
