Former President Bill Clinton and Ted Turner engaged in a discussion of energy and environmental issues, moderated by former Sen. Timothy E. Wirth. After the discussion they responded to questions from members of the audience. Mr. Knoblauch participated from the audience.

After the discussion, former President Clinton presented Ted Turner with the Democratic Leadership Council’s Clinton Center Award for Leadership and National Service. Ted Turner was honored for his work as an environmentalist and philanthropist through the Turner Foundation, the United Nations Foundation, the Nuclear Threat Initiative, and other organizations.

The event took place in the Milstein Hall of Ocean Life at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City. close
