Ms. Dickerson talked about her book, The End of Blackness: Returning the Souls of Black Folk to Their Rightful Owners, published by Pantheon Books. In the book, the author explores the concept of "blackness", and argues that it contributes to an unhealthy African-American obsession with white America.
