Ian Klaus talked about his book Elvis Is Titanic: Classroom Tales from the Other Iraq, published by Knopf. He discussed his experience teaching U.S. history and English for a semester at Salahaddin University in Arbil, the largest city in Iraqi Kurdistan. He responded to questions from members of the audience. 

Mr. Klaus wrote for publications across the United States while in Iraq and Afghanistan. He is currently pursuing a doctorate in history at Harvard.
