The League of Women Voters announced the launch of a nonpartisan national web site that provided information for voters for the upcoming November 7, 2006 elections. The League joined forces with Yahoo! to create a place on the Internet for voters to get election information such as polling locations, registration, absentee ballot, early voting, and identification rules, voting machine information, and election officials. Following their remarks they answered questions from the audience. close
