President Clinton honored the national school principal of the year in a small ceremony in front of the press corps in the Oval Office. She presented him with memorabilia from her school in Wisconsin during her visit, while Senator Kohl looked on. Following the short ceremony, President Clinton briefly responded to questions from reporters on the progress of his administration, and the issue of lifting the ban against homosexuals in the military.
