A new study from the Cato Institute was presented that estimates that the most restrictive immigration reform proposals would cost the U.S. economy about a quarter of a trillion dollars more than the least restrictive proposals that include legalization through a temporary visa program. Professor Dixon explained the findings and the methodology of the study, and Mr. Griswold talked about the results of his new study on immigration and the underclass. They responded to questions from members of the audience.
