Hofstra University sponsored a forum on the presidency of Jimmy Carter entitled, “Keeping Faith: A Look at the Carter Presidency.” Speakers in the forum on the Middle East accords discussed the situation surrounding the signing of a peace agreement between Egyptian President Anwar Sadat and Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin, which occurred in 1978.
