Senator John McCain delivered the keynote address at the Alfred Emanuel Smith Memorial Dinner. He told a few jokes and then spoke about giving to a higher cause. Senator McCain said he had not decided whether he would run for the presidency in 2008. Archbishop Edward Egan hosted the dinner.
