The Senate Environmental and Public Works Committee held a confirmation hearing for Environmental Protection Agency and civil and water works positions. Gen. Don Riley to be a member and president of the Mississippi River Commission; Brig. Gen. William T. Grisoli to be a member of the Mississippi River Commission; and D. Michael Rappoport to be a member of the Board of Trustees of the Morris K. Udall Foundation. They talked about environmental policy, natural resource management, and the administration of government public works programs.
