Carol Beck talked about the SEED School of Maryland, a statewide college-preparatory public boarding school for students from under-served communities. She was at the National Press Club Book Fair with four students from the school to thank patrons who were buying books for the school library. The students talked about their studies and what books they wanted for their library.
The 32nd Annual National Press Club Book Fair and Authors' Night, a fundraiser for the Eric Friedheim National Journalism Library, was held Tuesday, November 17, 2009 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
