Attorney General Holder and Acting Director Leonhart spoke to reporters and announced that federal authorities had mounted their biggest assault against one of Mexico’s most powerful drug cartels. They said that as a result of a major investigation launched under the Bush administration 750 arrests were made and drug distribution had been disrupted from Mexico to Canada.
