America’s Promise Alliance held its first summit on reducing high school dropout rates in the nation’s schools. Speakers included Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush and White House Domestic Policy Director Melody Barnes. According to an America’s Promise Alliance report 1 out of every 4 public school students will drop out of high school before graduation.
