House Armed Services Committee Ranking Member Adam Smith (D-WA) talked with Kathleen Hicks about drone strikes. Representative Smith said that American drone strikes should have more oversight, and that the Obama administration needed to explain the reasons for a strike. He also called for the closing of the Guantanamo prison and commented on the recent federal government shutdown. He responded to questions from members of the audience.
