The 30th annual CBC legislative conference was titled, "Judiciary Brain Trust: Two Million Incarcerated: Justice for a Community Under Siege." Panelists spoke against the death penalty and discussed issues such as disparate sentencing, the impact of DNA evidence, effective assistance of counsel, and innocent prisoners on death row.
